When you send an enquiry, DFL collects your name, email address, project brief and confirmation that you have read this notice. You may also provide a company or production name, phone number, production type, location, dates and the services required. Please do not include special-category, highly confidential or unnecessary personal information in the brief.

The website is hosted by Vercel. Like other hosting providers, Vercel may process technical request and security information such as an IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser or device information, request timestamps, diagnostics and system logs to deliver and protect the website.

A hidden field helps identify automated spam. A submission that fills it is discarded by the application and is not sent to DFL by email, although the hosting provider may still process ordinary request and security logs.

DFL uses enquiry information to understand and respond to your request, discuss possible services, prepare next steps and keep an appropriate record of the conversation. This processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract and for DFL's legitimate interests in managing genuine business enquiries and protecting the enquiry service from misuse.

Vercel hosts and secures the website. Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., transmits the enquiry email to DFL. This means the form contents, email addresses and related delivery metadata are processed through Resend.

Vercel and Resend operate primary processing facilities in the United States and may use subprocessors in other countries. Their data-processing terms provide contractual safeguards for restricted UK transfers, including the UK addendum to standard contractual clauses or other applicable transfer mechanisms.

DFL may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or to professional advisers who need it for their work. DFL does not sell enquiry information.

If an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, DFL keeps the enquiry and related correspondence for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, then deletes it from active records. Information may be deleted sooner following a valid request. If work proceeds, relevant records may be retained for longer where needed to perform the agreement, maintain business and financial records, resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.

DFL uses access controls and reputable hosting and email providers to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. DFL may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
